I have like 100 MB on my hard dive inside my computer and like 320 GB on my external hard drive. Any program I try to run cant be installed because it keeps looking at the hard drive inside my computer and not the external one. How can I make my external hard drive my main hard drive?

It is possible to run Windows on an external drive, but it would be too slow, so don’t do it!!
Realistically the only way to use the 320Gb drive would be to remove it from the caddy and fit it inside the PC case – then rebuild windows.
You may be better off deleting all the old rubbish from the drive, uninstalling a few old programs and saving as much as possible on your external drive.
Alternatively, buy a new Hard Drive and then use a cloning program (Personal Drive Copy or similar) copy the old drive.
